Extreme Autofest is another one of the older car shows that’s been around in SoCal for a while along with Hot Import Nights. Like HIN, the event attracts car builds of all types. If your car is a 90s Japanese Drift icon, you may be parked right next to a DUB edition hydrolic monster, or even a classic hot rod. All kinds of cars. There was only about four of us (and Wapo’s S2000 at the R1 booth) showing that day representing Project Zero. Allan E and his family drove up in the Passat, Casey and Matt came down from LA in Casey’s Cressida, and Derek and Lulu brought out Derek’s GS. Boogie, Mark, Patrick and a few others joined in throughout the day as well.Allan brought out his trophy’s in full force. We were joking that it would be funny to just pull out any trophies at these events like your sports trophies and even school diplomas lol. I started to realize that we never take Jamie’s wagon out to SD events. I guess it’s just laziness, but taking the WRX to SD always feels easier. Not much different going on with my car. I bought some carbon fiber head light covers just for this event but they didn’t fit correctly. Pretty happy I was able to get a refund on them. There was an older couple (and I hope that doesn’t offend anyone, I’m only 24, so older is not that old) showing right next to us with their 200sx S12’s. There was a time that I really wanted one of these. They’re often mistaken for AE86’s but they are actually the predecessor to the 240sx s13. They’re normally a rare sight to see so it was awesome seeing them in person. Casey even got to sit in the driver seat.I really want some new wheels. Or maybe change these up a bit, paint them or something.Derek’s GS/Aristo. So awesome how this thing turned out.Casey’s Cressida forever rocking the Bosozoku look with exposed oil cooler and blast pipes.Aside from the show there was also some auto cross and bike tricking going on.This Soarer was parked right across from us. Thought it looked really good and clean.I won’t lie. I got really excited seeing this Bugeye. Maybe I’ve just been playing too much Forza Horizon 2, but I’m really digging the rally stuff.Very clean AE86 sitting on Equips.Jay Shells’ car, pre-fight. Oni Camber. We always end up seeing this Evo. If I had the money I would build myself an Evo 5 from a Mirage. It wouldn’t be Extreme Autofest without a bikini contest haha.Calvin’s Fit. We’re actually looking into buying a Fit just as a daily.Tokyo Ghoul mask in the passenger seat.Peter’s M3. Looking fresh as usual.Charlene Lo taking some time away from speaking with all her fans just to hang out with Jamie and I for a bit. Always nice to see an old friend at these events.Congrats to Franky for winning first place in the VIP category!Joseph’s MR2. I think this was the first time seeing it in person. I sure have a lot of MR2’s on this blog recently lol.Daimon Shaw’s Veloster.Big thanks to Joseph for hooking me up with some of his Brisket Boys stickers.Ending the post with a picture of baby Rosalie! Thanks for reading.
